What should I watch out for on the Raspberry Pi Pico / Pico W?
Only GP26, GP27, GP28 are analog inputs (ADC0-2). ADC3 (GP29) measures VSYS. VBUS is 5 V from USB. Never connect it to a GPIO. On the Pico W the on-board LED is on the Wi-Fi chip: use LED_BUILTIN / "LED", not GP25. Every GPIO can do PWM, but pins sharing a slice share the same frequency.
Is the Raspberry Pi Pico / Pico W 5 V tolerant?
No. It uses 3.3 V logic. Putting 5 V on a GPIO pin can damage it; use a voltage divider or level shifter.
